These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Tulip & Tea website and your purchase of products from us.
Tulip & Tea is a trading name of Nodsboy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
Company number: 16286935
Email: Stevepezza@gmail.com
By using this website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Us
Tulip & Tea is a trading name of Nodsboy Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
We design and supply hospitality products intended to help hosts, holiday-let owners, guest houses, hotels and homeowners create a more welcoming and convenient experience for their guests.
Our products include NFC and QR-enabled Wi-Fi welcome products, display products and associated hospitality accessories.

2. Products and Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, colours and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Product photographs are provided for illustrative purposes. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, device or display settings.
Natural wood products may vary in colour, grain, texture and appearance. These natural variations are characteristics of genuine natural wood and are not necessarily defects.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to products where necessary, including changes to materials, finishes or manufacturing processes, provided that the product supplied continues to conform to its description and your statutory rights.

3. Prices
All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£).
Prices will be shown including VAT where VAT is applicable.
Any delivery charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. A price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices displayed on the website are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

4. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected by you.
After placing an order, you may receive an acknowledgement confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and us is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where, for example:

  • a product is unavailable;

  • there has been an obvious pricing or product description error;

  • we are unable to fulfil the order;

  • there is a suspected payment or fraud issue; or

  • we are unable to deliver to the address provided.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid.

5. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered through our website at the time of purchase.
Payment must be received in full before products are dispatched unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not normally have access to or store your full payment card details.

6. Delivery
We will provide an estimated delivery time when you place your order.
We aim to dispatch orders within the timescale stated on the relevant product page or during checkout.
Delivery times may vary depending on the product, destination, availability and delivery service selected.
If your order is delayed or appears to have been lost in transit, please contact us and we will investigate with the relevant delivery provider.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights regarding delivery.

7. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order
If you are a consumer purchasing a standard product online, you generally have a legal right to cancel your order without giving a reason.
The cancellation period normally ends 14 days after the day on which you, or someone you nominate, receives the goods.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us clearly stating that you wish to cancel. You can contact us via this link.
After telling us that you wish to cancel, you must normally return the goods to us within 14 days.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.
Where you exercise your statutory cancellation right, we will refund the payments due to you in accordance with applicable law. This normally includes the cost of standard delivery, although we are not required to refund any additional amount paid for a more expensive delivery option.
We may delay the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence that they have been returned, whichever occurs first.

8. Personalised and Programmed Products
Some Tulip & Tea products contain NFC Smart Cards that are individually programmed using information supplied by the customer.
This may include information such as the customer's Wi-Fi network name, Wi-Fi password or other information required to configure the product.
Once programming or personalisation has begun, the NFC Smart Card is no longer an unused standard product and will have been specifically configured for the customer's property.
Where a product is genuinely personalised or made to the customer's specifications, the statutory 14-day cancellation right may not apply under the applicable consumer protection legislation.
Accordingly, once we have begun programming or personalising an NFC Smart Card using information supplied specifically for your order, you may not normally cancel the order simply because you have changed your mind, where the statutory exemption applies.
We will make the personalised nature of the product clear before you complete your purchase.
This does not affect your statutory rights. If a personalised or programmed product is faulty, incorrectly programmed by us, not as described, or otherwise does not conform to your legal rights, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as appropriate.

9. Returns
For standard products that are eligible for cancellation under your statutory rights, products should be returned within the applicable cancellation period and with reasonable care having been taken of them.
Unless the product is faulty or we have agreed otherwise, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising your cancellation right, provided that you were informed of this before purchasing.
We recommend using an appropriate tracked delivery service when returning products.
Personalised or programmed products are subject to the provisions of Section 8.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
We want every Tulip & Tea product to arrive in excellent condition.
If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, materially different from the product described, incorrectly programmed by us, or is the wrong product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide your order number and, where appropriate, photographs showing the problem. This helps us investigate and resolve the issue quickly.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, we may offer a repair, replacement, refund, price reduction or other appropriate remedy.
Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.

11. NFC and QR Code Products
Some Tulip & Tea products incorporate NFC technology and/or QR codes to make accessing information such as Wi-Fi details easier.
NFC functionality depends on the capabilities, settings and compatibility of the customer's device.
QR code functionality depends on the customer's device, camera, software and internet connectivity.
We cannot guarantee that every smartphone, operating system or device will interact with NFC technology in exactly the same way.
Where a product is supplied with programmed Wi-Fi or other information, the information provided to us by the customer is the customer's responsibility. We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Our products provide a convenient method of presenting or accessing information. They do not replace the customer's responsibility to ensure that their Wi-Fi network, router, internet connection and associated services are operational.

12. Customer-Supplied Information
Where you provide us with information for a product, including Wi-Fi network names, passwords, QR code information, names, addresses, logos or other details, you are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied is accurate and that you have the right to provide it to us.
We will use customer-supplied information only for the purposes necessary to fulfil your order and provide the relevant product or service, subject to our Privacy Policy.
We cannot accept responsibility for errors in a product caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

13. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including the Tulip & Tea name and branding, logos, product designs, photographs, graphics, text and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Nodsboy Ltd unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish or commercially exploit our website content or product designs without our prior written permission.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights in the product design, branding, artwork or associated materials.

14. Website Use
You agree to use our website lawfully and not to:

  • use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;

  • interfere with the operation or security of the website;

  • introduce malicious software or other harmful material; or

  • copy or reproduce website content without permission.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance or other legitimate business purposes.

15. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, services or platforms.
We are not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and conditions.

16. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your legal rights as a consumer or our liability for matters which cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, we will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights relating to the quality, description or fitness for purpose of products supplied to you.

17. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This may include events such as natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, industrial disputes, disruption to transport services, supplier failures, power or telecommunications failures, cyber incidents or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Where such an event occurs, we will take reasonable steps to minimise its effect and will keep customers informed where appropriate.

18. Privacy
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used and the rights available to you.

19. Complaints
If you have a question, concern or complaint about an order or product, please contact us.
We will try to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.

20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version applicable to your order will be the version in force at the time you place your order.
The latest version will be made available on this website.

21. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and any contract between you and us are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you will also benefit from any mandatory protections provided by the law applicable to you in your country of residence.
